Seribu Islands SKPD Asked to Monitor Tourism During Eid Holidays

Seribu Islands Vice Regent, Ismer Harahap has instructed some agencies to monitor tourists along Eid holidays. Those agencies are Seribu Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-dept., Health Sub-dept., Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept., Transportation and Satpol PP.

"We want to make a monitoring team to do socialization and education to the tourists along Eid holidays," he expressed, Monday (6/19).

Seribu Islands to Alert Garbage Boats Along Eid Holiday

In that moment, he stated, tourist will throng to island resorts and island settlements. That is why, related agencies are involved to monitor them in order to protect the marine ecosystem and the environment.

"Healthcare post will also be set up at tourist sites and docks," he told.

In the meantime, Seribu Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-dept. Head, Fadjar Haridjaja would prepare the Tourism Awareness Group (Kopdarwis) to become a tourist guide.

"They will also educate about the weather, the ship feasibility and the safety of its passengers," he closed.
